At Filby Primary School we aspire for all children to develop a life long love of music. Through our inclusive approach, music is a wonderful channel for children to develop their respect and care for each other, recognise that everyone is able to participate and perform (regardless of ability). Our curriculum opportunities enable children to listen to, appreciate, compose and perform music from different cultures, periods and genres.

Both whole school and key stage performances develop individual responsibility, as well as fostering a community feeling of pride and fulfilment.
