The Newtons Page
(Classes 3 & 4)
The Newtons are aged 7, 8 and 9 and are taught by Mrs Hughes and Ms O'Beaney. They are supported by Mrs Brown and Mrs Newson.
The curriculum is taught through a topic based approach in a fun and supportive environment, where each child is valued. We want to develop a love for learning and want all children to enjoy school and be proud of their achievements and progress as they begin their journey in Key Stage 2.
PE is taught on a Tuesday by Mrs Hughes and on a Thursday by the Community Sports Foundation.
Music is taught by Ms O'Beaney on Thursday.

The children had a fantastic time today at the Egyptian dance workshop, lead by a dance specialist called Lorraine. The children were able to listen to some Egyptian music, learn about the instruments and were even able to play them. They learnt some key dance moves and wore costumes and scarves to add to the effect! It was great to see all the children having fun, being creative and enjoying their learning! Thank you to the PTA for funding the workshop!
Thank you to all the parents and grandparents for coming to our museum today! The children really enjoyed showing you their work and their rap!
